We collect personal information to enable us to provide our services to you and as otherwise set out in this Privacy Policy. Additionally, if we are required to comply with certain legislation to provide you with the products and services you choose, then the collection of certain personal information will be mandatory. Driver’s licences
Utility bills
Other documentary evidence of applicants’ identities
Information relevant to the financial services that we provide or have been requested to provide, including information about customers’ or applicants’ financial position, such as:
Details of assets and liabilities, including investments and any existing debts.
Details of income, including employment status, occupation, and the name of our clients’ employer.
Proof of financial position, for example pay slips or tax statements.
Other details relevant to a finance application that we require in order to assess that application, such as family details or the number of dependents.
Credit information, including credit information contained in credit reports from Credit Reporting Bodies (CRB).
Records of our interactions with you, including by telephone, email, and online.
Your inquiries or complaints.
Credit information is personal information that relates to credit that a person has applied for or has been provided. The credit information that we will collect from you may include your records of credit that you have applied for (including the name of the credit provider, the type of credit, and the amount of credit), default information, or any other information that has a bearing on your creditworthiness used to determine your eligibility for credit. Credit information also includes credit reporting information supplied to us by a credit reporting body and any information that we derive from it.
We will collect, hold, disclose, and use your personal and credit information to:
Assess and verify your identity and financial situation.
Assess your credit application, or your suitability as a guarantor to a credit application.
Provide such information to a guarantor or related applicant.
Exchange your information with a credit reporting body.
Disclose your information to credit providers as set out in our ‘Credit Provider Schedule’ to arrange credit.
Disclose your information to our aggregation partners as set out in the Aggregation Partners section of this document.
Disclose your information to an insurer to arrange insurance you wish to obtain.
Obtain from, and disclose to, third parties such as your employer, landlord, real estate agent, lending institution, and guarantor who are deemed as reasonably necessary to arrange finance and/or insurance.
Refer you to other organisations, service providers, or business partners or obtain referrals from them to you.
We may not be able to proceed with credit assistance without the ability to collect, hold, disclose, and use your personal and credit information.
Information That May Be Required About Other Third Parties
We may collect information about third parties, for example your spouse, a co-borrower, or dependents. If so, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary consents from that third party to disclose such information to us and have informed the third party of the purpose for disclosure.
We may collect and hold sensitive information about you, including information relating to:
Your citizenship or country of birth.
Whether you are a politically exposed person under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006.
Biometric information used for automated biometric verification or identification.
Health information if we are assisting you with an insurance product.
We do not use or share that information for any purpose other than acquiring the product on behalf of the customer.

Purposes for Which We Collect, Hold, Use and Disclose Personal Information
We collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information about customers or applicants to:
Assess a customer’s suitability for a loan or financial product.
If approved, provide finance to customers through our network of lenders.
Assist customers with an insurance product (if applicable).
Send customers marketing about other products and services that we think may be of interest to them.
Respond to inquiries and complaints.
We also collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information about customers seeking finance for any worthwhile asset finance product for business or personal use or unsecured personal loans.
How Personal Information Is Collected, Used, and Disclosed
If you are a customer seeking a loan or insurance, we will collect personal information about you directly from you or our Credit Representatives. We may also collect personal information about you from other persons, organisations, and public sources as set out below.
We may use and disclose your personal information to, and collect personal information about you from:
Businesses that provide information about consumer or commercial creditworthiness.
Credit reports obtained from a Credit Reporting Body (including information about creditworthiness, credit standing, credit history, credit capacity, financial status, and any default information).
Any sources disclosed in your finance application such as employers, current and past landlords, etc.
Service providers that assist in processing applications.
Any joint applicants, co-applicants, or guarantors.
Referrers, suppliers of goods, insurance product providers.
Agents, contractors, and external advisers.
Government authorities in Australia or overseas in connection with lawful information requests or compliance obligations.
Related bodies corporate (“Related Companies”) for product development, research, and informing you about future products and services.
Issuers of identification documents via third-party systems.
Intermediaries such as agents, advisers, dealers, brokers, representatives, and AFSL licensees.
Mortgage insurers for assessing mortgage insurance risk or default risk.
Accounting or finance specialists.
External dispute resolution services.
Legal and professional advisers.
Debt collection agencies, guarantors, valuers, surveyors, property registration authorities, or purchasers of debt portfolios.
In connection with funding financial accommodation by means of an arrangement involving securitisation, or any other proposed transfer of or proposed dealing with your loan.
We may collect and handle information from:
Online forums, websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or other social media platforms (e.g., when you make a complaint).
Public registers such as those maintained by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

Our systems record a variety of information relating to interactions with our website. How We Hold Personal Information
We use security procedures and modern technology to protect the personal information that we hold. We store your personal information in several ways, including in physical paper files and electronic systems and devices. Much of the information we hold is stored electronically on servers located in company premises or secure data centres in Australia. Access to and use of this information is appropriately limited to protect against misuse or unlawful disclosure of the information.
How you can access and seek correction of your information
You can contact us to request access to the personal information that we hold about you. Subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles, we will generally give you access to your personal information. However, there may be exclusions that permit us to not provide you with access in some circumstances. If access is denied, we will provide you with the reason unless, having regard to the grounds for refusal, it would be unreasonable for us to do so. Where we do grant access to your information, we may charge you a fee for accessing your personal information.
You can also contact us to request that we correct personal information that we hold about you. If we are satisfied that the personal information is inaccurate, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading, then we will take reasonable steps to correct that information.

Disclosing Your Information Overseas
Some of the parties with which we exchange your personal information, including our service providers and other third parties, may be located outside Australia, including in India, Singapore, and the United States of America.
We may also need to send your information overseas to process transactions you have instructed us to make, such as international money transfers. The countries to which we disclose your information will depend on the transaction details.
We may also send your information overseas to complete international transactions such as money transfers.
Marketing
We may use and disclose your personal information to inform you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you in the future. We respect your right to ask us not to use your information for direct marketing, and will not send you information about products and services if you so request by contacting us using the contact details set out below.

You are therefore responsible for maintaining appropriate software, hardware and associated processes to receive, access, review, print and save copies of such documents.
This consent applies to all types of communication that is permitted by law to occur electronically. Therefore, paper (hard copy) documents may not be provided to you, unless we are obliged to by law. You must regularly check advised electronic communication mediums for communication from us. If your details change, you must promptly notify us.
